The annual UKOUG event is back this December in the ICC in Birmingham, UK. With the huge success of last year’s event, the 2017 UKOUG JDE17 will be co-located with Apps17 and Tech17.

For those that haven’t attended this event previously, it’s not to be missed. Oracle partners from many product areas are placed in the one room, giving attendees the opportunity to meet the partners and other users. There are presentations and product demos in the ICC throughout the event, ensuring that no one goes home empty handed. Whether you’re a seasoned UKOUG attendee or a first-timer, the event offers unrivaled networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities within the Oracle community.

This year Redfaire are proudly sponsoring the UKOUG, as we have done in previous years. Redfaire has three exciting presentations lined up for JDE17:

  • Dec 5th at 11:00 AM — 11:45 AM: Redfaire’s Christian Fronteras presents the Host with the Most. Attendees will hear how JD Edwards customers have benefited from the Cloud and why more and more IT Directors and CIO’s are looking at the Cloud, not just as a way to reduce capital spend but to bring agility, security and resilience to their businesses. • Dec 5th at 16:50 PM — 17:35 PM: Redfaire’s Stefania Frigerio presents ’What If’ the Future Could Become More Predictable. 70% of organizations still use spreadsheets for their planning and forecasting process. In this session, attendees will see how Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service can help in improving the accuracy and security of the planning and forecasting process and predict the impacts of strategic decisions on a business. • Dec 6th at 14:05 PM — 14:50 PM: Redfaire’s Barry Yelverton and Guenael Voisin present Hybrid Cloud — the Best of Both Worlds? Bringing Together JD Edwards and AP Automation for Better Business Processes. In this session, Guenael and Barry will share case studies from implementations of AP Automation in international, multi-site companies and will highlight the cost savings and increased control over procurement and payment processes as a result. Another session to look out for is the JDE17 Keynote by Lyle Ekdahl, Senior VP of Oracle Product Development.
